DAR, MAY MAAGANG PAMASKO SA 800 MAGSASAKA NG DAVAO

Isang maagang pamasko kung ituring ng mahigit 800 magsasaka ang halos P4.7 million post harvest facility na ibinigay ng Department of Agrarian Reform noong nakaraang linggo.

 

Ayon kay DAR Undersecretary Rosalina Bistoyong, malaking tulong ang pasilidad na ito sa produksyon ng niyog at cocoa sa halos 700 ektaryang taniman mula sa iba’t ibang barangay sa Davao del Sur.

 

Ang post-harvest facility na ito ay naisakatuparan sa pamamagitan ng Mindanao Sustainable Agrarian and Agriculture Development (MINSAAD) Project, sa pagtutulungan ng Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) at ng lokal na pamahalaan.

 

Nagpaabot ang iba’t ibang grupo ng magsasaka sa Davao ng pasasalamat para sa regalong natanggap. Tinumbasan naman ito ng DAR ng tiwala na makikipagtulungan ang mga magsasaka upang magamit ang naturang pasilidad sa pinaka mainam na paraan. (Aljhon Amante)
