Half a million pesos worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride, or shabu, was confiscated during an entrapment operation in Laguna on January 20, 2016.
Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Director General Undersecretary Arturo G. Cacdac, Jr. said that the illegal drug was seized from female suspects identified as Naimah Pantao, 27 years old; and Norkisah Pamlian, 25, both residents of Bagumbayan Mosque Mendiola, Siniloan, Laguna.
Agents of PDEA Regional Office 4A (PDEA RO4A) CALABARZON under the direct supervision of Director Yogi Filemon Ruiz arrested Pantao and Pamlian after they sold a transparent plastic sachet containing shabu weighing 200.0024 grams, with an estimated street value of P500,000 to a poseur-buyer in a gasoline station in Bagumbayan, Siniloan, Laguna.
Cases for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) in relation to Section 26 (Conspiracy to Sell), Article II of Republic Act 9165, or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, were already filed against the suspects.
