NISRIP GETS GO-SIGNAL FOR VARIOUS REHABILITATION AND IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS

January 12, 2016 – In line with National Irrigation Administration commitment to provide improved irrigation services NIA Administrator Dr. Florencio F. Padernal signed three (3) contracts under the National Irrigation Sector Rehabilitation and Improvement Project (NISRIP) on January 12, 2016held at NIA Conference Room, Quezon City. All the contracts aim to rehabilitate and improve irrigation system and construct Irrigators’ Association support facilities in the area.

Under the NISRIP projects are Solsona River Irrigation System located in Solsona-Dingras Ilocos Norte, Muleta River Irrigation System in Maramag-Don Carlos Bukidnon Province, and Mal River Irrigation System in Matanao-Hagonoy Davao Del Sur. A joint venture between PHESCO INC. and North Tech Builders and Construction Supply got the rehabilitation and improvement as well as the construction of IA support facilities of Solsona River Irrigation System amounting to PhP139,759,327.76, Tribu Design and Construction will push through the Muleta River Irrigation System improvement and rehabilitation project with a budget amounting to Php92,791,582.14 while Monolithic Construction and Concrete Products Inc. will work on Mal River Irrigation Sytem with budget allocation of PhP104,294,595.83.

Navarro, Overall Team Leader Consultant Mr. Koji Okada, Atty. Pepito L. Padilla, Tribu Design and Construction General Manager Mr. Mathew O. Liis, Monolithic Construction and Concrete Products Inc.
