ARBs NG DAR MAGSU-SUPPLY NG ORGANIKONG GULAY SA DSWD

 

MAGKAKAAGAPAY ang Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) at Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) kasama ang Cabilga municipal government upang mabigyan ng malusog na pagkain na mula sa tanim ng local agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) ang 800 mag-aaral.

Ayon kay  Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer Leovigildo Monge, ang pagpapakain ng libre sa mga batang mag-aaral ay bunsod ng programang Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (PAHP) na layuning mapabuti ang nutriyong kailangan ng mga bata mula sa 39 na daycare centers sa kanilang munisipalidad.”

Sa ilalim ng kasunduan, ang DAR sa pamamagitan ng 4 agrarian reform beneficiary organizations (ARBOs) ay regular na magsu-supply ng sariwang gulay sa DSWD municipal office na syang iluluto para sa mga batang mag-aaral.

Ang 4 na ARBOs ay ang Bulao Farmers Association, Canbagtic Farmers Association, Macaalan Farmers Association and the Panayuran Farmers Association.

Sinabi ni Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer Eva Ranas na kakailanganin nila araw-araw ang 48 kilos of kamatis, 26 kilos sayote, 26 kilos kangkong, 33 kilos ampalaya, 18 kilos luya, 67 kilos kalabasa, 53 kilos sitaw, 93 kilos yellow papaya, 16 kilos green papaya and 26 kilos malunggay upang mapakain ang batang mag-aaral ng 39 na daycare centers. Sinigurado naman ni Ranas na bibilhin nila ang mga organikong gulay ayon sa presyo sa merkado.

Ang Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (PAHP) ay hindi lamang makakapagpakain ng mga organikong gulay sa mga batang mag-aaral kundi kikita rin ng ekstra ang mga magsasakang benipisyaryo ng agraryo dahil magsisilbi rin itong matatag na merkado, ang regular na pag-supply ng inaning organikong gulay DSWD.

Dahil sa programang PHAP ay magtutulungan ang iba’t ibang ahensiya ng pamahalaan upang tiyakin na ang mahihirap na pamilya sa pamayanan sa malalayong lalawigan ay mabibigyan ng pangangailangang social at ekonomiya upang ibsan ang kagutuman at itaas ang antas ng kahilirapan sa kabukiran.
