DAR turns over P6.5-M projects to agrarian cooperative

ISINALIN na ng Kagawaran ng Repormang Pansakahan ang pangangalaga at pangangasiwa ng corn coffee processing facility sa Lapad Agrarian Reform Farmers’ Cooperative (LARFACO) na matatagpuan sa sa Lapad, Laguindingan, Misamis Oriental.
 
Bunsod nito isang kasunduan ang nilagdaan sa pagitan nina DAR represented by Macadindang na nagkaloob at LARFACO Chairman Danilo Quilab bilang tumanggap ng nasabing proyekto.
 
Kasama rin sina Lanao del Norte PARPO Jamil Amatonding at Municipal Agrarian Reform Officer Francis Padilla na sinasaksihan ng mga kasapi nito.
 
Nasa nabanggit na okasyon din sina Laguindingan Municipal Mayor Oliver Ubaub, Barangay Chairman Jimmy Refuerzo at CARPO Archie Ladera, Engr. Mark Bael, ARCCESS coordinator Chiona vBahian, SARPO Maybelle Alcala, and DAR provincial and municipal employees. Fr. Emerson Pasilan.
Si Fr. Wilson Legaspi naman ang nagbendisyon sa mga kagamitang pambukid at ang corn coffee processing facility.
Ang tulong ng DAR ay may kaakibat ding bodega, may palikuran, solar dyer bukod pa malaking traktora.
 
Ayon kay Undersecretary for Support Services Rosalinda Bistoyong ang nasabing proyekto ay malaking tulong sa kooperatiba ng magsasaka na nagtatanim ng mais dahil sa tatas ang ani ng mga magmamais na tiyak na magdudulot ng pagtaas ng kanilang kita. Dahil din sa kanilang binigay na tulong ay tiyak nilang de kalidad ang mga produkto nilang mais.
 
Nasa 200 libong piso ang pondong ginastos ng pamahalaan sa ginawang corn coffee processing facility sa ilalim ng Village Level Processing Center Enhancement Project (DAR-VLPCEP).
 
Samantala ang solar dryer and warehouse with toilet ay nagkakahalaga naman ng P3.38 million sa ilalim ng proyekto ng Agrarian Reform Infrastructure Support Project (ARISP) ng gobyerno.
 
Magkatuwang na pinondohan ito ng Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) at ng ating pamahalaan.
 
Ang traktora naman ay mahigit sa 2 milyong piso sa ilalim ng Agrarian Reform Community Connectivity & Economic Support Services (ARCCESS).”
 
Hinikayat naman ni Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer Zoraida Macadindang ang mga tao ng Barangay Lapad na pangalagaan ang pibinigay na pasilidad at traktora para sa kapakanan ng mga susunod na lahi. (Cathy Cruz)
