A suspected big-time lady pusher was arrested inside a hotel in Camarines Norte after she sold methamphetamine hydrochloride, or shabu, to an undercover Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) agent on November 7, 2015.
PDEA Director General Undersecretary Arturo G. Cacdac, Jr. identified the suspect as Cherrylyn Nabahab, with aliases Dhang/Cherrylyn Bebing, 23 years old, of Kalimbas Street, Sta. Cruz, Manila.
At about 8:00 in the morning, elements of PDEA Regional Office 5 (PDEA RO5) Camarines Norte Provincial Office under Director Bryan Babang conducted a buy-bust operation in Wiltan Hotel, Barangay 5, Daet, Camarines Norte which resulted in the arrest of Nabahab.
Confiscated from her was one large tape-sealed transparent plastic bag containing 1,012.7204 grams of shabu, with an estimated street value of P5, 000, 000.
A case for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Article II, of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, was charged against Nabahab before the Office of the Provincial Prosecutors, Daet, Camarines Norte.
Nabahab is presently detained at Camarines Norte Provincial Jail, Daet, Camarines Norte.
