Manila Water, magsasagawa ng desludging ngayong Enero

Magsasagawa ang Manila Water ng malawakang desludging schedule simula ngayong Enero bilang bahagi ng programang pagbibigay ng maayos na serbisyong pang-sanitasyon sa higit 6.3 milyong residente ng East Zone. Uumpisahan ng Manila Water ang desludging o pagsisipsip ng posonegro sa iba’t ibang barangay sa Quezon City, Marikina, Rizal, Makati, Pasig, San Juan,Taguig at Pateros.
“Ang desludging ay isinasagawa kada limang taon sa bawa’t barangay upang malinis ang mga posonegro ng mga kabahayan” paliwanag ni Manila Water East Zone Business Operations Group Director Ferdinand Dela Cruz.
Nakapila sa desludging schedule ngayong Enero ang Barangay Escopa 2, 3 at 4, Loyola Heights, Capitol Homes, Sitio Payong, Vista Real at Tierra Pura ng lungsod ng Quezon.
Uunahin din ang Barangay Socorro at San Roque sa Cubao Quezon City, Barangay San Perfecto sa San Juan at Barangay Malanday ng lungsod ng Marikina.
“Nakatakda rin ngayong buwan ang desludging sa iba’t ibang barangay sa lalawigan na Rizal kasama na ang barangay San Jose at San Roque sa lungsod ng Antipolo gayundin ang barangay Rizal at Santiago ng Baras.
“Hinihikayat din po namin ang mga residente na aming nasasakupan na makipag-ugnayan sa inyong mga barangay upang makasama sa listahan ng mga kabahayang maseserbisyuhan ng pagsipsip ng posonegro,” paliwanag ni Dela Cruz.
Bahagi rin ang mga sumusunod na barangay sa desludging activity ngayong buwan; Barangay Buting, Kalawaan, Pineda, Caniogan, Rosario at Santolan ng Pasig. Kasama rin ang Barangay Fort Bonifacio ng Makati, Barangay Bagong Silang ng Mandaluyong,  Barangay San Isidro ng Taytay, Barangay Mahabang Parang at Pag-Asa ng Binangonan.
Sa mga nais magpa-iskedyul ng desludging, maari lamang makipag-ugnayan sa Manila Water o tumawag sa Manila Water Hotline 1627.
Ang Manila Water ay ang pribadong kumpanya na konsesyunaryo ng silangang bahagi ng Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System na nagbibigay ng serbisyong patubig at alkantarilya sa mga  residente ng Marikina, Pasig, Makati, Taguig, Pateros, Mandaluyong, San Juan, ilang bahagi ng mga lungsod ng Quezon City at Maynila pati na ang lalawigan ng Rizal.
