Methamphetamine hydrochloride, or shabu, with an estimated value of P130,000, was seized from two young male pushers by operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) during a buy-bust operation in Cagayan de Oro City.

On June 17, 2015 at around 1:30 in the afternoon, a PDEA undercover agent was able to hatch a transaction with Rasol and Hagingan whoagreed to meet with the poseur-buyer at Zone 1, Barangay Kauswagan, Cagayan de Oro City. Upon the pre-arranged signal, elements of PDEA Regional Office 10 (PDEA RO10) under Director Wilkins Villanueva swooped down on the suspects after they received the marked money in exchange for the illegal drug weighing approximately 65 grams placed inside two transparent plastic sachets.
A case for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165, or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, is being prepared for filing in court against Rasol and Hagingan, who are temporarily detained at PDEA RO10 Jail Facility in Cagayan de Oro City.(Mr. Glenn J.
