Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista joins House Speaker Feliciano Belmonte Jr. and Ateneo de Manila University president Fr. Bienvenido Nebres, SJ in launching the capacity building program of Singapore’s Temasek Foundation, which is designed to develop the management and teaching skills of the country’s education officials and teachers.  Temasek Foundation has partnered with Ateneo, the House of Representatives and the Department of Education for the implementation of the program.  Quezon City has been chosen by Temasek Foundation as beneficiary of its first program in the Philippines, the Leaders and Educators in Asian Programme (LEAP), which provides training in educational leadership, innovative teaching practices and curriculum development to 92 educators from 10 public elementary and high schools in Quezon City.   Looking on: are Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte and Carmela Oracion, ADMU’s assistant to the president for basic education. -30- Precy/Ej/Marlon, PAISO
