DA-PRDP STRENGTHENS DOCUMENT TRACKING THROUGH TECHNOLOGY

Ang Department of Agriculture’s Philippine Rural Development Project (DA-PRDP) ay naglunsad kamakailan ng online Document Tracking System (DTS) upang mapahusay pamamahala at pagsubaybay sa pertinent documents na nasa loob ng kanilang opisina.

Ito ay dinibelop ng PRDP’s National Project Coordination Office (NPCO) para mapadali ang pag-aapdayt sa status ng mga dokomento. PRDP National Deputy Project Director Arnel V. De Mesa na mas mapapadali ang paghahanap ng mga dokomento. Kilala sa pagtataguyod ng mga teknolohiya para sa mg proyekto ng gobyerno, tulad ng geotagging at expanded vulnerability at suitability assessment tools, ang DTS ay isa sa mga milestone ng PRDP.

Bago ito, ang proyekto ay bumuo ng web-based management information system (MIS) para makatulong sa mga nababahalang opisina at ahensya sa loob ng DA. Napapalood sa sistem ang ilang record, dokomento, ilang impormasyon sa mga updayt na proyekto ng DA, ay nagsimula noong nakaraang taon.

Upang higit na mapahusay ang mga tao na gumagamit sa DTS, naglunsad sila ng training na may kinalaman sa Project Development Associates na hahawak sa mga impormasyon. Dagdag ni De Mesa, magbibigay ng akses sa real time status ng proseso ng ilang dokomento.

Ang PRDP ay anim na taong national project na may layuning matatag ng isang moderno, esklusibo, value-chain oriented at climate resilient agriculture at fisheries sector. Ito ay ipinatupad sa pakikipagtulungan ng DA, World Bank at Local Government Units. (Catherine Nanta, NPCO InfoACE)
