Ayala Sustainability Council nakilahok sa Manila Water Nature Walk

Nagsagawa ng isang nature walk sa La Mesa Watershed area ang mga opisyal at miyembro ng Ayala Sustainability Council, isang grupo ng mga sustainability advocates mula sa iba’t-ibang sangay ng Ayala kasama ang mga concessionaire ng Manila Water East Zone.

Ang mga kalahok sa naturang nature walk na masugid na sumusuporta sa sustainability practice na ito ng Ayala Corporations ay binagtas ang area na may layong 3.5km upang magkaroon ng karagdagang kaalaman tungkol sa kahalagahan ng watershed at sa pagbibigay nito ng water supply sa Metro Manila.

Nakilahok din sa nasabing aktibidades ang kinatawan ng Manila Water Scoopers na si Bonar Laureto mula sa Philippine Business for the Environment and Phillip Fullon of Global Footprint Network.

Ang Manila Water ay ang pribadong kompanya ng Metropolitan Waterworks at Sewerage System na nagbibigay ng tubig at serbisyo sa bahagi ng Quezon City at Manila, Mandaluyong, San Juan, Taguig, Makati, Pateros, Marikina, Pasig at ilang bayan ng Rizal Province. (Freda Migano)
