IDEOLOGICAL COLONIZATION = FREE MARKET ECONOMICS

FULL DISCLOSURE COLUMNCopy of butch valdes

IN the Pope’s statement in the MOA of which I was privilege to attend, regarding families specifically and repeatedly warned against the present ideological colonialism, and putting a lot of emphasis in saying that this has been designed to destroy families, societies and whole nations.

He further explains himself that this ideological colonialism has forced many families to break-up separating parents from children, pushing the parents to seek employment abroad because of severe economic need, leaving children here parentless and lured into drugs and other crimes. Thereby and in subsequently, destroying the moral fibre of our society and the ultimate destruction of our nation.

Though he did not mention it, I interpret ideological colonialism as globalization and free market economics. This has forced our people to abandon their role of parenting in order to receive slave-labor wages under the most horrific conditions in the Middle East and elsewhere, so they can feed their starving families.

Pope Francis exhorts all families and family members to fight and reject this system.

That it is in accordance with God’s intention to assert the dignity of human life by showing their opposition to such oppressive economic policies.

Though he has also emphasized that families must continue to dream of a future, and that this ability to dream assures the continuance of love, he nevertheless emphasizes that we must protect our families and our nation from being completely over run by this evil ideological colonization. #
