QC JOB FAIR ALSO OFFERED AFP JOBS

For the first time, the Quezon City Government hosted a one-day job fair for local, international and military vacancies.

The job fair for the military is in coordination with the National Defense College of the Philippines (NDCP) which is celebrating its 48th founding anniversary.

Carlo Magno Abella, OIC of QC Public Employment Service Office (PESO), said that more than 40 local and 10 overseas employment agencies participated in the event at the QC Hall Plaza.

Among the local firms that participated were SM Appliance Store and Ace Hardware, and Dunkin Donut.

For local employment, most of the vacancies were for office and clerical positions, service crew and sales personnel. On the other hand, skilled workers, engineers and domestic workers were the most needed for the overseas jobs offered.

Interested graduates and under graduates who have at least 72 units, aged 20-24 years old had signed up for training/job offered by the Philippine Navy, Air Force, Special Forces, Scout Rangers, and Philippine Army.
