KAMPANYA NG KALIGTASAN TUNGKOL SA KURYENTE NG IIEE INILUNSAD

NASA larawan (kaliwa) ang mga hanay ng media na dumalo sa talakayan hinggil sa Integrated Institute of Electrical Engineers of the Philippines (IIEE) on Electrical Safety Awareness Campaign na ginawa sa gusali ng IIEE sa 41 Monte de Piedad, Cubao, Quezon City. Kasalukuyang sinasagot ni Engr. Armando R. Diaz, National President ng nasabing organisasyon ng mga inhenyero si Wally Villamejor ng PSciJourn Mega Manila. Katabi naman ni Engr. Diaz si Bb. Jessie Lei, Project Manager-Building Construction ng International Cooper Association Southeast Asia Ltd. (ICA-SEA) na nakabase sa Singapore.
Matatandaan na nagkaroon ng Memorandum of Agreement o kasunduan sa pagitan ng IIEE ng Pilipinas at ang ICA-SEA kaugnay sa pagpapasimula ng kampanya nila ng tinaguriang “Electrical Safety Enforcement and Awareness” na tatagal sa loob ng tatlong (3) taon.
Layunin nito na ang publiko ay mabigyang kasanayan ang mga Electrical Engineers at kaalaman ang publiko sa pagbili at paggamit ng tamang uri ng electrical materials na kadalasang ginagamit hindi lamang sa mga gusali kundi sa mga kabahayan.
Nais rin nitong maiwasan ang kadalasang dahilan ng pagkasunog ng mga ari-arian at pagkawala ng buhay dahil sa hindi angkop at hindi de-kalidad ang nabibiling gamit pang-kuryente.
Kasama sa kasunduan ay ang pagpapaigting ng pagsasakatuparan ng batas ukol sa tamang paggamit ng de-kuryenteng materyales sa pamamagitan ng pakikipag-ugnayan ng IIEE sa iba’t-ibang ahensya ng ating pamahalaan at pribadong sektor sa ating bayan.
