TANGKANG PAGPAPAKAMATAY NG LALAKING NAKA-DROGA NAPIGILAN NI QC MAYOR BAUTISTA

QUEZON CITY- Napigilan ni  Mayor Herbert “Bistek” Bautista ang tangkang pagpapakamatay ng isang 41 anyos na lalaki na napag-alamang nakagamit ng ipinagbabawal na droga sa ika-labing apat (14) na palapag ng Quezon City Hall Main Building sa Lungsod Quezon kamakalawa ng hapon.

Kinilala ang lalaking nagtangkang magpakamatay na si Joseph Litonjua, 41anyos,  may-asawa, isang taxi driver, nakatira sa Bararangay Central Quezon City,

Ayon sa empleyadong nakakita kay Litonjua, mag-a-alas dos umano ng  hapon ng mamataan ito na nakatayo sa labas ng bintana ng ika-14 na palapag ng Quezon City Hall Main Building, kung kaya agad na ipinagbigay alam nito sa ibang empleyado ang nakita na agad namang tumawag sa Police Action Center ng QC Hall at sa DPOS Rescue Team.

Umabot halos ng isang oras ang ginawang negosasyon ng mga DPOS Rescue Team na pinamumunuan ni Noel Lansang kasama ang mga Kagawad ng Pulisya na pinangunahan naman ni P/C Insp. Ritchi Claravall ng Quezon City Hall Police Action Center, subalit napahinuhod lamang ang lalaki ng dumating si Mayor Herbert M. Bautista ng paki-usapan ito.

Ang dahilan umano ng tangkang pagpapakamatay ni Litonjua ay dahil umano sa problema, isa na rito ang atraso niya sa kanyang bayaw na si Kagawad Francis Duncan ng Barangay Central, na may-ari ng Taxi na kanyang minamaneho, nadispalkuhan niya umano ng pera ang kanyang bayaw, napabayaan ang pamilya dahil sa pagamit ng ipinagbabawal na droga.

Ayon kay Quezon City Anti Drug Abuse Council (QCADAC) Psychologist Liberty Magno, positibong nakagamit ng ipinagbabawal na gamot si Litonjua kung kaya nagawa nito ang muntik nang pagpapakamatay, at dahil sa tuliro at may epekto pa rin ang droga sa utak nito .

Sa kasalukuyan ay inaasikaso na ng tanggapan ni Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte ang pagpapadala kay Litonjua sa Drug Rehabilitation para dumaan sa counciling at ma isaayos ang pagkatao nito.(RAFFY RICO).
