QC HALL SINAGOT ANG BUROL AT GASTUSIN NG BATANG BIKTIMA NG SUNOG

INATASAN ni Mayor Herbert Bautista ang pamahalaang Lungsod Quezon na sagutin na ang gastusin sa burol at kabaong ng apat na buwang gulang na si Joven Ogsimer, na natusta matapos masunog ang bahay sa ‘squaters area’ sa sa Barangay Culiat QC kamakailan.

Ang batang namatay sa sunog ay nakaburol ngayon sa isang Chapel malapit sa Purok Uno ng nasabing barangay at nakatakdang ilibing sa sementeryo ng Bagbag ng nabanggit na lungsod.

Ayon sa Ina ng nasunog na bata, ang biktima at ang kapatid nitong kuya na 5 taong gulang ay naiwang magkasama ng magsimulang masunog ang bahay, nagawa umanong makalabas ang kuya sa nasusunog na bahay kung kaya nakaligtas ito, at naiwan ang kapatid nitong hindi pa nakakalakad.

Ang sunog sa Culiat ang pangalawa nang sunog na nangyari sa  magkaparehong araw ng lunes kamakailan. Umabot sa 156 ang nawalan ng bahay at tirahan na piniling manatili malapit sa flyover construction site sa kahabaan ng Luzon Avenue, samantalang inalok ng pamahalaang lungsod na gamitin muna ang Culiat High School na pansamantalang evacuation center ng mga ito.

Patuloy naman ang pamimigay ng pagkain at tulong ng pamahalaang lungsod Quezon sa mga nasunugan, katulad din ng pamimigay ng tulong at makakain sa mga nasunugan ng may 405 na pamilya, umaga ng lunes sa kahabaan ng BIR Road sa Barangay Central, na kasalukuyang nakasilong ngayon sa PAGASA covered court at planong manatili malapit sa pinangyarihan ng sunog .

Nanawagan naman si Secretary to the Mayor Tadeo Palma sa mga biktima ng sunog  na samantalahin na ang relokasyon na iniaalok ng National Housing Authority (NHA) sa Rodriguez Rizal na may 140 housing site na pupuwedeng malipatan.(RAFFY RICO/JIMMY CAMBA)
