QC NAGBIGAY NG BAGONG ARMAS SA PULISYA AT NBI

DALAWANG DAANG bagong armas ang ibinigay ng lokal na pamahalaan ng Quezon City para sa mga pulis ng QC Police District.

Pinangunahan ni Mayor Herbert Bautista ang pagbibigay ng armas, na kinabibilangan ng 100 riple at 100 pistola.

Bukod sa pulis, binigyan din ng pamahalaan ng QC ang National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) ng 40 bagong armas. Tinanggap ito ni NBI Director Atty. Magtanggol Gatdula na dating  police director ng QC Police District.

Mahigit sa P13 milyon ang inilaan ng pamahalaan sa pagbili ng armas, kaalinsunod na rin sa programa ni Mayor na mapabuti ang pangangalaga ng peace and order.

Pinapurihan naman ni Gatdula si Bautista at ang QC government sa pagkakaloob ng donasyon na anya ay napapanahon ito dahil sa maliit na budget na kanilang pinagkakasya para sa operasyon ng NBI.

Samantala, nagpasalamat din ni Gatdula dahil sa plano ni Mayor Bautista na palakihin ang satellite office ng NBI sa city hall upang mapaganda pa ang operasyon nito.

Lumabas din na may planong ilipat ang NBI headquartrers sa Quezon City mula sa Taft Avenue , Maynila.

Isa sa mga lugar na kinukunsiderang paglipatan ng NBI  ay lote ng National Housing Authority (NHA) na nasa central business district area sa North Triangle.
