Neophyte solon Rep. Winnie Castelo, member of the Liberal Party is of the belief that Sen. Mar Roxas’ appointment as presidential troubleshooter will usher well to the present administration of P-Noy contrary to claims by some quarters that his scope of work in government should be better delineated by appointing him to a cabinet position instead.
The QC solon assailed that perhaps the expressed criticisms against Mar Roxas were mere intrigues thrown in his path to somehow affect his eventual and imminent election as President of the Liberal Party that will be held tomorrow. “For me, I don’t think that the work of a troubleshooter ought to be viewed as stepping on another else’s shoe nor would result in any degree of functional duplication”, Castelo pointed out.
“Quite apart from being P-Noy’s party-mate, the good senator has a broad range of experience and expertise that can be tapped to the fullest and getting appointed as the Palace’s troubleshooter is certainly part of it.”, Castelo likewise emphasized.
