New Eagles Clubs Chartered in Barcelona, Marking Expansion of Filipino Service Organization in Europe

The Fraternal Order of Eagles inaugurated a new chapter in its European presence yesterday with the formal chartering of the Catalunya Barcelona Spain Eagles Club and its sister organization, the Catalunya Barcelona Spain Lady Eagles Club. The historic ceremony, held on May 31, 2025, united Filipino professionals, leaders, and community advocates in Barcelona, pledging a shared commitment to service, brotherhood, and sisterhood.

Founded on the core principles of the global Fraternal Order of Eagles, the newly established clubs aim to create a robust network of support and leadership within the Filipino diaspora in Spain. Their primary mission is to serve, care for, and uplift communities through organized charity drives, outreach programs, and community-based initiatives. Special focus will be given to assisting needy, marginalized, and underserved Filipinos living in Spain.

The chartering event was described as a moment filled with inspiration and a renewed dedication to the order’s values. Members emphasized that the clubs will operate on a foundation of deep camaraderie, mutual respect, and a heart for public service. By fostering strong bonds among members, the Eagles and Lady Eagles of Barcelona intend to become a pillar of integrity and compassionate action in the region.

The establishment of the Barcelona chapters signifies a strategic expansion of the Eagles’ spirit in Europe, reflecting the growing organization and influence of Filipino communities abroad. The Fraternal Order of Eagles is an international service organization known for its charitable works and community support, with chapters worldwide.#
