The National Housing Authority (NHA) – Rizal District Office conducted a Gender Sensitivity Training (GST) and “Serbisyo kay Juana” or Livelihood Training on January 31, 2025, at the Southville 9 Housing Project, Phases 5A & 6, and the Virgen Dela Paz Housing Project in Rizal.
Aiming to enhance gender awareness and development among housing beneficiaries, the GST was attended by 30 individuals.
Meanwhile, the “Serbisyo kay Juana” or Livelihood Training, focused on economic empowerment and strengthening partnerships with beneficiaries and communities, had 50 participants.
The training included meat processing, specifically making longganisa and hamburger patties, along with a business development session.
These initiatives are part of the approved 2024 Gender and Development (GAD) Plan and Budget.#
